πRewards System in TCT for Validator Node Owners on Crest Chain (POA)
In the Crest Chain blockchain network, we have designed a customized rewards system for validator node owners using the POA consensus protocol. This system aims to incentivize active participation of validators and reward their contribution to the security and operation of the network. Below is a description of the new rewards system:
7.1.3 Remuneration a. Voting Reward Also known as the "Candidate Reward," the top 83 candidates, whose list is updated every round (every 6 hours), will share a total reward of X TCT tokens that are generated. The reward will be distributed according to the weight of votes received by each candidate. Each year, the total remuneration for candidates will not exceed 2% of the total supply of TCT.
7.2 The Committee 7.2.1 General Information The committee is responsible for establishing the dynamic parameters of the Crest Chain network, such as block generation rewards and transaction fees. The committee consists of the top 27 candidates from the current round. Each candidate has the right to propose changes and vote on them. When a proposal receives 19 votes or more, it is approved, and the new network adjustments are applied during the next maintenance period (3 days).
7.2.2 Creating an Offer Only candidate accounts have the right to propose changes to dynamic network settings.
7.2.3 Voting on a Proposal Only committee members (the candidates) can vote on the proposal, and a member who fails to vote in time will be considered dissenting. The offer is active for 3 days after creation. Voting can be changed or canceled during the 3-day voting period. At the end of this period, the proposal is successfully approved if it receives 19 or more votes; otherwise, it is not implemented.
7.2.4 Offer Cancellation The proposer can cancel the offer before it takes effect.
With this new rewards system in TCT for Crest Chain, we aim to encourage active participation and commitment from validator node owners while rewarding their contribution to the network. It is important to note that the total reward for candidates will be limited to 2% of the total supply of TCT, ensuring the stability and balance of the Crest Chain ecosystem.
